What is helical gear?
Helical gears are not entirely helical gears. It should be said that helical gears are the meshing mode of two helical gears, which can be distinguished by their different directions of transmission force in space. Ordinary spur gears enter into meshing along the tooth width at the same time, resulting in impact vibration noise and unstable transmission. Helical cylindrical gear transmission is better than straight teeth, and compact center distance is used for high speed and heavy load. Helical gear reducer is a new reducer. With the advanced design concept of optimization and modular combination system, it has the advantages of small size, light weight, large transfer torque, smooth start, fine transmission ratio classification, and can be connected arbitrarily and selected for various installation positions according to user's requirements.
Advantages of helical gears
Good meshing performance: the meshing process between helical cylindrical gear teeth is an excessive process, and the force on the gear teeth is gradually from small to large, then from large to small; helical gears are suitable for high speed and heavy load situations.
High coincidence: The increase of coincidence makes the bearing capacity of gears increase. Thus, the service life of gears is prolonged. The coincidence degree mainly depends on the engagement time, while the helical gear has a long engagement time and a large contact area, which reduces the stress.
And make the transmission stable, and increase its economy.
Compact structure: The smaller the minimum number of teeth, the more compact the structure.
